Release Date:2026-06-17

On June 16, 2026, the China Biotechnology Development Center officially released the list of projects that have completed the filing for clinical research of new biomedical technologies. Combining with the previously announced projects, a total of 13 projects have completed the filing.

"Thirteen projects, spanning multiple fields including oncology, neurology, metabolism, autoimmune diseases, and organ failure—this marks the densest single batch release of cell therapy clinical research registrations since the implementation of the *Regulations on the Administration of Clinical Research and Clinical Translational Application of Novel Biomedical Technologies*."

For patients, this means that more potential treatment options are moving into the compliance process; for the industry, the steady advancement of the filing system is gradually bridging the final mile from "laboratory to hospital bed".

But as the bio-center repeatedly emphasized in the announcement: Completion of the registration process does not mean guarantee of efficacy. These projects still need to undergo strict clinical research to verify their safety and effectiveness. We expect that these projects, within a standardized framework, will truly bring benefits to patients.
