On June 8th, in order to optimize the quality management of clinical drug trials, further cultivate a standardized and efficient clinical research ecosystem, and support biomedical research and development innovation, the National Medical Products Administration, in conjunction with the National Health Commission, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, revised the "Good Clinical Practice for Drug Trials (Document No. 50 of 2026)" and it will come into effect on September 1st, 2026. The "Announcement on the Release of Good Clinical Practice for Drug Trials" (Document No. 57 of 2020) issued by the National Medical Products Administration and the National Health Commission is simultaneously abolished.
