On May 15th, the National Medical Products Administration issued a notice, announcing the implementation of the "Implementation Measures for the Protection of Drug Trial Data" (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Measures"). From now on, applicants for drug registration can simultaneously submit applications for protection of drug trial data when submitting their drug registration applications.

The "Implementation Measures" stipulate the specific protection periods and scopes for different types of drugs, such as innovative drugs, modified drugs, and generic drugs.
